Applicable law & jurisdiction: Malta law; Maltese courts (unless otherwise agreed).

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy & Cookie Policies. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. No therapist-client relationship via the website

Use of the site, downloading materials or contacting us does not create a therapist-client relationship. Contacting us via email or form does not constitute emergency contact. If you are experiencing an emergency or are at immediate risk, contact local emergency services or crisis lines — which you can find here.

3. Clinical information and disclaimers

Content on this site (articles, blog posts, FAQs) is for general information only and not a substitute for personalised clinical assessment or advice. Do not rely on website content to diagnose or treat conditions. Always consult a qualified clinician for personal advice.

4. Online therapy / remote sessions

  • Online therapy has limitations (technical disruptions, confidentiality risks).

  • You must ensure a private space and secure connection.

  • We use Google Meets. We apply reasonable safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security of internet communications.

5. Confidentiality and limits

We maintain professional confidentiality except as required by law or to prevent serious harm (as described in the Privacy Policy). Communications via this website (forms, email) are not fully secure — for transmitting sensitive information.

6. Intellectual property

Website content (text, images) is owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, republish, or adapt material without written permission.

7. Liability limitation

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy of website content, but provide the site “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or incidental losses, and limit liability for direct losses to an amount equal to fees paid to us in the prior 12 months (or a reasonable cap consistent with Maltese law). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

8. Links to third parties

We may link to third-party sites; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms; changes will be posted on the site with an updated effective date.

10. Contact and governing law

Controller: Karin Cassar. For queries about these terms or materials, contact: cassarkarin@gmail.com. These Terms are governed by Maltese law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malta courts.
